Position overview
Business development and client service:
- New business development/ Present company’s credentials to potential clients
- Build relationships with existing clients
- Work towards sales targets
- Building client database and maintaining client contact
- Compiling proactive research proposals to new and existing clients based on market activity
Research design and management:
- Receiving and processing client briefs
- Scoping and costing/ cost estimation and management per project
- Compile proposals for research projects
- Develop questionnaires for research projects
- Oversee survey administration and execution
- Oversee data analysis
- General project management
Report preparation and presenting:
- Develop analysis framework per project/ Graphics and data handling briefs
- Data interpretation and report writing
- Document finalisation and quality control
- Present insights reports to clients
Team player:
- Monitoring of market and brand activity for new business opportunities
- Skills sharing and training support across the team

Technical skills: A theoretical and working knowledge of market research as a practitioner
Professional skills: Excellent written and spoken communication skills essential
Qualification required: Tertiary qualification in research OR marketing with a strong research component
