A Healthcare Company who is passionate about providing Clinical Care to HIV positive adults, children and adolescents is currently looking for a dynamic and driven Instructional Designer (4 month contract)

To Design, develop and review high quality training and learning materials aligned with criteria set by the technical Teams (SME’s)

Education, Training and Experience
• Matric (Grade 12)
• Certified Facilitator and Assessor
• Certificate in Instructional Design
• 2 years’ training experience
• 2 years’ instructional design experience
• Editing experience
• Excellent knowledge of SAQA and SETA requirements
• Advanced computer skills especially in PowerPoint and MS Word
• Excellent communication skills and written English
• Ability to work under pressure with speed, accuracy and attention to detail
• Ability to monitor and assess own performance
• Time and resource management skills
• Valid driver’s license

Key performance areas

• Support the training curricula and materials manager in the development of new curricular
• Conduct environmental scans to identify potentially useful new learning and assessment methodologies including e-learning
• Liaise with Technical Teams (SME’s) to identify learner needs and learning objectives and provide guidance on effective methodologies to meet specific learning objectives
• Design practical and theoretical assessments in collaboration with Technical Teams (SME’s)
• Develop and design project-specific, high quality learner and facilitator manuals in consultation with Technical Teams (SME’s)
• Develop high quality training support resources and PowerPoint slides where required
• Conduct reviews to assess existing materials and re-align where required
• Ensure that all SAQA criteria are met in the design and development of learner and facilitator manuals where appropriate
• Support the evaluation of course pilots for curricula ad learning materials improvement

This position is open to Foreign Nationals who are currently registered with HPCSA, Already poses a current work VISA, and whom have the right experience & qualifications.
