Instructional Designer

Compuscan a cutting-edge, dynamic and fast-growing credit bureau is searching for an Instructional Designer who will be responsible for the design, development and review of E-learning training courses that are aligned to Outcomes-Based Education and Training Principles and that meet the quality standards and requirements of Compuscan Academy.

Key Requirements

• Qualifications in instructional/curriculum design, particularly for online delivery or a related area
• National Certificate in OD ETD Practices NQF Level 5 (desirable)
• Minimum of 3 years instructional design experience in the creation of e-Learning materials
• Experience with online course management tools (i.e. Moodle)
• Experience with graphic and multimedia authoring software and website design software (i.e. Articulate Storyline, Adobe InDesign)

• Strong understanding of complex learning theories and learning styles, assessment and evaluation methods

Key Performance Areas

• Conduct the necessary research for the design and development of eLearning materials
• Design and develop eLearning material in line with the curriculum to ensure that learning outcomes are matched
• Maintain and ensure quality in all aspects related to instructional design, development and delivery as well as to perform all administrative tasks related to this function including the management of the Learner Management System.
• Maintain material and ensuring best practices are followed
• Manages development projects from inception to completion
• Maintain a high level of expertise in the learning technology space
• Manage and maintain the Learning Management System
