Position Summary
This position will provide support to the Control and Instrumentation team and will be responsible for higher level faultfinding and software support.
Qualification & Experience
• N2 Qualification
• Certified Trade Test Qualification
• Valid code 08 (Code B) drivers license
• 2 Years Post Trade Test experience and a sound knowledge of and experience in an industrial environment
• Knowledge of PA scales and densities
• Endress and Hauser level and pressure transmitter knowledge
• Indepth knowledge of Magnetic flowmeters
• Good faultfinding and communication skills
• 5 years shift work as Instrument Mechanician would be an added advantage
Knowledge & Skills
• Computer Literacy with knowledge of MS Office
• Good communication and administration skills
• Experience in Process Automation Mass Flow Gauges and Electro Mechanical Belt Scales
• Knowledge of MS Office assisting in Daily Scheduling and Planning of tasks
• Knowledge of Conveyor Safety Devices (CT Systems experience will be an advantage)
• Ability to apply systematic fault finding and problem solving techniques (RCA and RCFA)
• Experience with PLC’s and SCADA systems (Mitsubishi PLC’s and ADROIT SCADA)
• Knowledge of the Mine Health and Safety Act

• Prepared to be a Team Worker able to assist the team to set and achieve targets
• Willingness to work overtime and standby
• Repair, maintain, Implement and commissioning of Industrial Instruments
