Job Description:

To process all annual insurance premiums on behalf of insurers and ensure that they are dealt with in accordance with the short-term insurance act and prescribed company processes and procedures.

Responsibilities will include:

Receipt insurance premiums and advise underwriters of discrepancies.

Follow up regularly on discrepancies identified and unallocated premium sand assist with queries accordingly.

Ensure all payments and Bordereaux for insurers are processed accurately and timeously and sent to insurers with the legal time frame.

Ensure all late payments from clients are processed by special payment to ensure continuation of cover for the client.

Review age analysis weekly and liaise with underwriters and Account Executives on outstanding premiums.

Check validity and accuracy of refunds prior to loading payments and process on CIMS against the credit note.

Reconcile all creditor account balances on Pastel on a monthly basis and advise management of discrepancies timeously.
