Insurance Sales Specialist Needed To Place calls to consumers and switch them from a existing product to something more cost effective.

Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities

-          Contact private individuals by phone;

-          Adhere to prepared insurance industry FAIS compliant scripts;

-          Describe credit life insurance to customers, who are already paying for the insurance;

-          Persuade potential customers to switch the credit life insurance product to Switch2’s alternative;

-          Identify and overcome objections and respond to questions;

-          Take the customer through a bureau search and the sales process;

-          Follow up on voicemails received and initial contacts that request call backs;

-          Complete records of telephonic interactions, orders and accounts.

Education and Experience

-          Matric, grade 12 or NVQ4

-          1 year’s insurance experience

-          Completed FAIS regulatory exams RE1 and RE5 would be advantageous

-          Proficient in relevant computer applications

-          Proficient English and Afrikaans speaker

-          Knowledge of customer service principles and practices

-          Knowledge of call centre telephony and technology

-          Proven track record in sales

Working hours:

- Monday to Friday (8:00 am to 17:00)

They communicate well with customers, are able, fast- to provide detailed arguments, have great organizational skills and multi-task and prioritize in a high-volume paced environment
