POSITION: Insurance Telesales Consultant – Homeowners Cover
LOCATION: Randburg
TYPE: Permanent
SALARY: R8500pm plus commission

OVERVIEW:
Randburg based company specialising in short and long term insurance and financial products, needs an experienced Telesales Consultant with RE5 (first regulatory exam for representatives), 120 FAIS credits and at least 2 years’ outbound insurance telesales experience, to join their driven and dynamic team.

REQUIREMENTS:
• Grade 12
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in outbound insurance sales and customer service role
• Minimum of 1 years’ experience in an admin/operations role
• Must have successfully completed the RE 5 qualification/First Regulatory Exam for Representatives
• Must be Fully FAIS Accredited (proof to be provided for minimum 120 FAIS credits)
• Strong Sales background in Short and Long Term Insurance Products
• Specialist knowledge and skills with regards to Insurance policies/ procedures
• Computer Literate - (Excel, Word & Outlook)
• Excellent verbal and numeracy skills
• Excellent telephonic sales and service ability
• AS400 / Telesure Sales/System Experience will be an added and advantage


ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Key focus on making outbound calls and retaining clients.
• Constantly sell value proposition.
• Achieve / Exceed targets as set out in the KPA document
• Drive client retention and ensure retention targets are met by ensuring client satisfaction
• Ensure correct refunds are arranged/refunded
• Ensure continuous up to date knowledge of products
• Finding innovative solutions to save policies
• Ensure customer services are in line with quality and performance standards
• Respond to customer queries and address service complaints timeously
• Increase daily, monthly and annual sales
• Improve Service Levels and provide awesome Client Service.
• Maintain relationship in order to upsell various value added services
• Resolve queries from customer’s in-line with Service Level Agreements.
• Proactively retain existing clients through providing a consistent client experience and value add client propositions
• Retentions - call clients who missed their premiums and arrange for collection
