A leading international telecoms company have a great job opportunity for a Interconnect Account Manager to join their team in Johannesburg. You will serve as a primary point of contact for connectivity customers and will be responsible for managing the relations towards those customers.

Your key job responsibilities as the Interconnect Account Manager in Johannesburg will include:

- Own end-to-end organic voice and hubbing P&L, sales activities, product development and fulfilment
- Identify potential clients for voice hubbing services
- Overlook and manage relationship with long distance interconnect customers
- Develop/manage relationship with international carriers to provide long distance voice services
- Manage voice interconnect revenue assurance including optimal routing and fraud management and prevention
- Monitor and ensure fulfilment operates within SLAs
- Define pricing as well as route optimization to provide clients with optimal prices and routes
- End-to-end product ownership (e.g. informing customer support with responsibility matrix, sales with SLAs)
- Identify new carrier services products for international clients
- Develop products operational procedures
- Follow-up with technical teams to ensure product implementation and approve service/product launch
- Build pricing model to optimise revenue per account for hubbing services
- Create advanced voice traffic and demand analytics & Intelligence of competitive carrier pricing

Requirements for this Interconnect Account Manager job in Johannesburg:

- Minimum 4 Year Academic Degree in (Engineering or Computer Science or Business Administration) or equivalent
- 5+ years in relevant experience in the international telecommunication infrastructure industry
- Detailed knowledge on the international telecommunication infrastructure industry in regard to latest industry trends and competitive landscape
- Effectively manage processes and solutions to maximize efficient work within business unit
- Innovation to improve value and efficiency
- Deep understanding of the international voice space of the telecommunication industry
- Desire to provide inputs for new product development and management
- Strategic analytical thinking to create and execute international voice strategy
- Commercial acumen and financial competency
