An established Interior Design Firm specializing in upmarket residential homes & offices, is looking for a passionate & hardworking Interior Designer with min 4 years’ industry experience to join their team. They offer challenging and interesting design projects and a pleasant and congenial work environment.
Responsibilities:
• Producing Manufacture Furniture, Fixed Fitting & Ironmongery Drawings & Full Service Layouts
• Producing Presentation Boards on Power Point or Photoshop Software (Mood, Style & Design Concept)
• Project Management
• Client & Contractor Liaison
• Obtaining & Inspecting Quotations for Various Furniture, Fixed Fittings Items, Wall & Floor Finishes & Ornaments etc.
The ideal candidate must meet the following qualifications to be considered:
• Min 4 years industry experience in residential design
• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design from an accredited school of design
• Ability to work in a team environment with good collaboration skills
• Proficiency in producing 2D technical drawings utilising AutoCAD
• Ability to produce the following working drawings:
- Furniture floor plans
- Custom furniture manufacture drawings with clear Joinery detail
- Full service layouts & elevations
- Ceiling layouts, elevations & details
- Wall & floor finish layouts
• Some experience in producing 3D rendered interior perspectives required
