Assistant Interior Designer.

Our client is seeking a dynamic Interior designer/stylist This person must be willing to learn and understand the company's design ethos, work with the design team and develop into a hospitality designer that can grow with the company and eventually lead the design process.

Relevant Interior Design qualification

Computer literate – MS Office, Microsoft Excel & Word, Power Point, Sketch up and AutoCad

Communication skills and fluent in written and spoken English

Organisational skills which include time management and prioritising of tasks

Excellent managerial skills

Self-confident and self-motivated – must enjoy working with people

Ability to solve problems, work under pressure and meet deadlines

High level of accuracy and attention to detail

Good negotiating skills

Excellent administration and time management skills

Driver’s license

Liaising with buyers on all matters concerning lodge orders that requires design input.

Liaise on all operational design aspects and lodge requests

Work closely with the Buy-design Teams on product development, projects, budget preparation, updating buyer’s guides & lodge styling guides.

Operational audits for lodges including compilation and monitoring of “ops Costings".

Ensure that all Company's brand standards are adhered to

Ensure that all aspects of the lodge design components are practical operationally

Work with Regional Directors and Managers on the day in the life of a guest to plan operational items.

Salary R 35 000 - R 40 000 including company benefits
