Junior Interior Designer | Sandton | Luxury Lodge Group
We are looking for a dynamic JUNIOR INTERIOR DESIGNER (STYLIST) to join this well known design company in Sandton, with a large group of luxury lodges across Africa. You must be willing to learn and understand the Company’s design ethos, work with the design team and develop into a hospitality designer that can grow with the company and eventually lead the design process.
You will be responsible to assist in day to day lodge design and procurement, project design, lodge audits and the maintenance of the lodge styling guides. The successful candidate will report to the Lodge Support and Services Director on an operational level and to design company directly on a design level.

Key JOB OUTPUTS:

• Liaising with buyers on all matters concerning lodge orders that requires design input.
• Liaise with designers on all operational design aspects and lodge requests
• Work closely with the designer teams on product development, projects, budget preparation, updating buyer’s guides & lodge styling guides ,
• Operational audits for lodges including compilation and monitoring of “’To Do Lists” and “ops Costings.
• Ensure that all brand standards are adhered to
• Ensure that all aspects of the lodge design components are practical operationally
• Work with Regional Directors and Managers on the day in the life of a guest to plan operational items.
• That specified interior items are of a high quality
• That specified interior items reflect an essence of natural luxury
• Maintaining excellent relations with lodges
• Maintaining excellent relations with all suppliers
• Have good interaction with colleagues, lodges and suppliers
• Backup for colleagues when they are away from the office
• Project co-ordination, booking flights for contractors, suppliers and design team.
• Installation of projects
• Work with logistic to ensure that product come in on time to get on trucks.


KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED:

• Relevant Interior Design qualification
• Computer literate – MS Office, Microsoft Excel & Word, Power Point, Sketch up and AutoCad

Salary package: R 30,000 – 40,000 CTC highly negotiable
