Our client is seeking an intermediate application developer for EMS. We need a candidate to work on data porting of data from legacy systems into the new EMS solution. This will mean a lot of sql work, using a staging database and validating data accordingly.

The successful candidate will comply with the below requirements:

• Formal qualification: Degree or diploma completed
• C#, ASP.NET, HTML5, Java Script, SQL Server and Reporting Server
• Understanding of SDLC and Agile methods
• 5 years’ experience in application development and design
• Must be analytical and problem solving skills
• Exposure to financial systems and ERP development bonus

• C#, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, XML, SQL Server, Web Services, security, exception handling and support of large, complex, or enterprise-wide solutions
• Choose appropriate training methods per case (simulations, mentoring, on the job training, professional development classes etc.)
• Excellent communication skills
• Technical writing skills
• Solid presentation skills
• Problem solving skills
• Analytical skills
• Customer service skills
• Ability work independently and as part of a team
• Must also be self-motivated, detail-oriented and ability to multi-task

Responsibilities:

• Attends to both business and technical considerations when designing solutions to project/team or company related issues
• Assisting and completing EMS enhancements
• Defining technical requirements
• Implementation, development of requirements and debugging Application Sites
• Unit testing
