An international multidisciplinary consulting firm seeks to employ an Intermediate Mechanical Engineer with extensive experience in HVAC, building services to be permanently based in their Cape Town office. The candidate must have strong knowledge in HVAC, working on high rise building projects, this is a fantastic opportunity to those who would like to be part of major projects.
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
Must be a holder of a BSc Mechanical Engineering or alternatively a BEng Mechanical Engineering degree
Must have 5 - 8 years’ experience in the design of mechanical systems for HVAC on major projects
Must be able to design HVAC, Fire systems and Wet Services to meet regulations and client satisfaction.
Must have working knowledge using Revit software as well as Microsoft Office
Must be able to manage building energy reports and audits
Must be able to recognise as well as to perform efficient energy interventions
