Key Responsibilities • System configuration/development, integration of SAP UI5 (Fiori) front end application, particularly for Finance & SAP Cash Management, but not limited to that.
• SAP ABAP development
• SAP Workflow developments
• System configuration/development, integration of SAP UI5 (Fiori) front end application, particularly for Logistics, but not limited to that.
• System configuration/development, integration of SAP UI5 (Fiori) front end application, particularly for Maintenance (including Plant Maintenance), but not limited to that.
• The Developer to activate SAP standard Fiori apps as well as creating new custom apps to support business needs.
• Implementation of Web Applications and/or upgrade projects with technical knowledge primarily in SAP NetWeaver, UI5, Java, ABAP and Gateway.
• The ideal candidate will demonstrate both strong functional and technical understandings of the SAP UI5 architecture
• Provides skills and perform knowledge transfer to group SAP CoE SWF staff
• Comply with Eskom templates and requirements.
• Maintain the current business process for the respective area on SAP Solution Manager System for the S/4 HANA implementation project.
• Responsible for creating and maintaining supporting documentation on SAP Solution Manger for example:
o Configuration rational, including configuration specifications
o Development, including Technical specifications.
o Test cases, including test manuals
o Role testing includes gap analysis, and set-up authorisation objects in line with Eskom business / policy.
o Training material, including training manuals for end user training.
• Create and perform the execution of test management scripts on SAP Solution Manager.
• Conduct / coordinate the following tests on SAP Solution Manager
o Unit test
o Integration test (Identify integration points within groupand arrange testing with these departments)
o Role base testing
o Performance testing
• Analyse reported problems, enhancement requests, and minor and major
process redesigns for implementation
• Assist in developing strategy for optimizing the use of SAP, and assist in
business case development and advise on the feasibility of potential future
projects
• Provide feedback to the project managers or team lead as required.
• Attend team, operational, project and steering meetings on an invitation basis.
• Comply with group Change Management process on Solution Manager for transports.
• User support for logged problems and information requests
• Provides consultative services
• Analyse reported problems, enhancement requests, and minor and major process redesigns for implementation
• Work in union with staff to develop and maintain the implementation plans and coordinate the scheduled work of other as-needed team members to complete the implementation, including documentation, testing, training, etc.
• Recommend implementation strategies that are aligned with the business strategy and are consistent with SAP’s enterprise architecture and strategic direction and computing platform standards.

Requirement:
Previous configuration knowledge of the relevant SAP module
At least 5 years relevant SAP experience on ECC6, preferably in the applicable functional module.
Previous experience in user support for logged problems and information requests
Involved in 2-3 large scale SAP projects (6 months plus)
Knowledge of fault or any fault logging system
Problem solving and assessment skills
Analytical skills

SAP Certification in SAP relevant module
SAP courses attended will be advantageous
Knowledge on Solution Manager change management, business blue print and configuration processes and test management system.
Escalation/change control process knowledge
