A Software Tester with exceptional skills and a passion for problem solving is required to form part of an exciting company with its finger on the pulse of what is current.

Qualification:

Relevant 3 year Degree (Computer Science / Information Technology / Engineering)

Skills & Experience:

Minimum Experience Required: 2 - 4 years Software Testing

Excellent understanding of testing concepts and the role of QA in the SDLC

Ability to write SQL queries

Job Description:

Review and analyse user documentation, functional specifications and other related project documentation

Create test plans and test scripts

Execute test plans and test scenarios

Identify and analyse defects. Log defects and track defect resolution within release time frames

Participate in project / team meetings

Provide feedback to the development team and ensure the work is carried out in accordance with the schedule and the quality requirements

Provide estimates and feedback to the project manager for project scheduling and project management purposes.

Maintain QA environment and test data

Perform acceptance tests with customer (business)

Take partial ownership of the QA function, when offsite with the customer

Strictly adhere to all Departmental and Company Policies and Procedures
