Leading Technology house is looking to employ an Intermediate SQL DBA with 3+ years MS SQL Server Administration experience and 1+ yearsâ?? experience with Azure.

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Information Systems.
• 3-4 years’ experience as a SQL DBA.
• MCTS, MCITP AND MVP certification a plus.
• 1+ years’ experience with Azure.
• 3+ years MS SQL Server Administration experience required.  

Key Competencies:

• Will be responsible for the implantation, configuration, maintenance and performance of critical SQL Server systems.
• Experience with performance Tuning and Optimization (PTO), using native monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
• Experience with backups, restores and recovery models.
• Knowledge of High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) OPTIONS FOR SQL Server.
• Experience working with Windows Server, including Active Directory.

Salary: R35 000 – R40 000 per month depending on work experience and skill level. Salary is Negotiable depending on experience and skill level.
