Assist in establishing the strategic direction of the IT Audit Function to ensure alignment with business.
Assist in the development of a risk-based audit plan for a rolling 3 year period.
Schedule and conduct IT audits identified in the annual audit plan as well as any ad hoc audits and/ or special investigations that have been approved
Develop IT audit programmes, including any continuous auditing processes
Assist in the co-ordination, management and monitoring of testing to be performed by external consultants and external auditors
Tabulate deficiencies in the prescribed format and obtain remediation plans from process owners
Monitor remediation activities, report progress to management and audit committee and assist in preparation for audit committee
Facilitate remediation of deficiencies and reliance on complementary

compensating controls to support external audit
Monitor and report on monthly continuous audits.
Create awareness of governance and controls within TSAM.
Manage relationships with consultants.
Manage relationships with Process Owners

Qualification

Minimum NQF 5 (240 Credits) Qualification in Internal Auditing or Information Technology.
Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) essential;
Any of the following are advantageous: Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) and / or Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC) and / or Certified in Governance of Enterprise IT (CGEIT)
Minimum 2 to 4 years’ experience within an Audit/ Internal Audit / Compliance environment; Knowledge and experience of IT or IT Audit principles and fundamentals as well as exposure to IT Audits.
