Internal Auditor (AA Only)

Area: Greater Tzaneen area

Package: R50000 per month but highly negotiable for the right candidate

The purpose of this role is to establish risk management and internal control activities, monitor compliance with related policies and legislations, ensure effective function of control environment and provide governance support.


Required minimum education/training: B.Comm Degree in Accounting or Internal Auditing
Required minimum work experience; 4 -6 years in an internal or external auditing; and mining industry experience an advantage


Duties:
• Risk Management
• Identify; analyze; evaluate; treat; monitor and review risk.
• Develop company-wide control environment
• Develop and maintain policies and procedures
• Monitor compliance to ensure effective functioning of the control environment
• Develop and maintain strategic and operational risk based audit plan
• Implement internal audits
• Report on findings
• Develop and monitor action plans
• Manage external audit
• Facilitate appointment and rotation of external auditors
• Facilitate year-end audit from planning to completion
• Develop and monitor audit action plans
• Governance support – Board and Sub-Committees support
• Coordinate the activities of both the Board & the Sub-committees
• Perform Secretariat function.
