Qualification:

Completed Tertiary Degree in Internal Auditing (BCom, CTA or equivalent)

CIA / CTA qualification with Articles will be advantageous



Skills & Experience:

At least 2-5 years proven experience in a risk-based Internal Audit environment

Experience in using CAATS (ACL / IDEA) and other audit software applications will be advantageous

Excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills

Effective planning and organizational skills



Job Description:

Conduct risk-based internal audits and compliance based internal audits in accordance with the approved audit plan.

This includes identification and assessment of risks and internal controls, reviewing, analysing and documenting audit evidence, and understanding and documenting business processes, procedures and systems.

Ensure compliance.

Prepare and ensure execution of audit programs for planned audits.

Draft audit reports.

Follow up on recommendations and procedures made during previous audits, by evaluating and monitoring corrective action implemented by management.

Assist in ad-hoc projects as and when required.

Develop and maintain industry based knowledge.

Able to work within a team and provide, guidance, motivation, support and training to other internal audit team members, as and when required.
