A Leading Company in the Steel Industry is looking for an Internal/External Sales Representative for the Durban KZN office meeting the below requirements

" Telephonic sales including price negotiations and quotations
" Meet Sales targets
" Provide customer feedback and sales forecasting
" Interaction with customers, suppliers, stores, etc
" Work according to laid down policies and procedures
" Provide excellent customer service
" Promote Company as a leading Steel Supplier
" Ability to address commercial and technical queries
" Develop and exploit new business opportunities with specific focus on coil related products
" Preparation of quotations and customer pricing structures
" Manage specific area/s by meeting Sales and GP targets
" Results driven
" Willingness to work outside normal working hours when necessary

Required Qualifications/Experience

" Minimum grade 12, a post graduate degree would be an added advantage
" Minimum 5 years external sales experience in the local steel industry
" Previous experience selling and pricing coil related products would be an advantage
" Solid knowledge of mill based product costing would be an advantage, in particular, the ability to calculate coil nests
" Excellent interpersonal skills
" Working Knowledge of SAP Sales Modules would be advantageous
" Knowledge of local marketing factors and customer requirements
" Computer skills essential
" Valid driver's licence
" Must demonstrate the motivation and desire to grow sales/tons of Company products
" Adequate administration skills
" Must be self-motivated
" Must be organized and manage time efficiently
" Be able to work as part of a team
" Able to work under pressure
