Purpose of Position:
Complement Recruitment are recruiting for a Sales Administrator for a permanent position based in eThekwini, Cato Ridge. Core duties and functions are to Coordinate communication of all customer related issues to Sales Manager to ensure seamless flow of information. Experience in a large, high pressurised environment essential.

Core functions:
• Answer telephone calls and speak directly with the customers.
• Highest level of phone and email etiquette.
• Ensure that customers are updated with daily orders and stock in Warehouse.
• Interface with Warehouse and Dispatch – chase orders.
• Place orders and send out order confirmations.
• Follow-up on deliveries and keep customers updated on the progress of their orders
• Capture customer complains on Salesforce

Details of function:
? Process orders generated by sales representatives, check orders to ensure that customers have entered correct details.
? Contact customers to resolve any queries or obtain information that is missing.
? Ensure details of orders are captured on Oracle and forward order on to Production or Dispatch department.
? Maintain customer sales records, create records for new customers and update the records with details of orders and invoices
? Maintain order detail integrity and accuracy
? Provide support for sales representatives when they are out of the office
? Update representatives on orders or deliveries
? Coordinate communication of all customer-related issues to Sales Manager to ensure seamless flow of information
? Submit and track sample requests
? Create and generate reports and compile presentations to be used in sales meetings
? General administration for the sales and marketing department
? Attend to telephonic enquiries from prospective customers regarding both forthcoming and existing sites, creating a database for future use
? Manage:
o Finished goods stock
o Ageing finished goods stock
o Overdue invoices
o Process customer credits/invoices queries

Primary interactions:
• Work closely with internal cross-functional partners to ensure responsiveness to customer requests.

Qualifications:
• Grade 12
• Relevant post matric qualification will be advantageous
• MS Office and sound computer knowledge
• Experience working with Oracle will be advantageous
• Demonstrated aptitude for problem-solving; ability to determine solutions for customers (consultative sales approach).
• Must be results-orientated and able to work both independently and within a team environment.
• Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
