We are recognised as the market leaders in heavy-duty auto electrical products, associated technical services and related safety products throughout Sub-Saharan Africa. We are currently looking for an exceptional Internal Sales- Exports person to be part of our exciting team.

The Internal Sales Exports person will offer support to the sales team attaining the monthly as well as annual targets and operates with management and clients to determine business requirements.

Requirements:

- At least 3-5 years' experience in sales preferably sales exports
- Must have experience as an Internal Sales person particularly Exports (Non- Negotiable).
- Must be proficient in general calculations such as profit margins, discounts, VAT, Exchange Rates.
- Must be an excellent telephone communicator.
- Must have a flair for written communication.
- Excellent Negotiation Skills
- Must have knowledge in Mining/Retail/Plant/Trucking.
- Knowledge- Africa and beyond
- Knowledge of the SAP system.
- Should have a working knowledge of imports/exports, incoterms etc.

Responsibilities:

- Maintaining a healthy relationship with existing customers.
- Opening of new accounts.
- Providing sales and administrative support
- Support the exports team in attaining sales targets.
- Preparing proposals, sales reports and presentations.
- Follow up on quotes and orders on a daily basis.
- Obtain DDP quotes if required.
- Follow up and analysis of all lost sales.
- Administer all vendor and credit applications.
- Administer orders and follow through to actual dispatch.
- Coordinating and responding to all requests of internal meeting
- Assisting with sales promotional events.
- Update knowledge of products being sold.
- Report to supervisor any complaints or problems carried over by clients and update customer complaint to SAP system.
- Update and maintain all customer records and ensure continuous improvement of the CRM Database.
- Ensure that the sale is dispatched promptly and customer is satisfied.
- Keep accurate sales records and lost sales records in accordance with ISO requirements.
- Stay abreast of product range (competitors 'products & pricing)
- Ensure frequent customer contact - existing business, buying houses, dormant accounts etc.
- Maintaining an efficient working environment.
- Promoting the facilities of the organization to fresh and existing customers through a proactive approach.
- Attending Trade Shows and assisting with Sales promotional events.
- Assess customer needs telephonically and accurately quote part requirements.
- Receive orders for parts required by customers.
- Inform direct superior on prices to be negotiated to secure large orders.
- Attend all sales meetings and training session.
- Check catalogues or computer databases to identify and locate required parts.
- Making copies and sending faxes, emails etc.
- Any ad-hoc duties by your superior
- Active market research into new business opportunities, new buying houses etc.

N.B position Includes Provident Fund, 50% Medical Aid and commission
