Must have recent experience as an internal sales rep or similar post in a company who sells engineering/mining products

The ideal candidate to possess the following characteristics and attributes:
• Matric
• Minimum of 2 years Sales experience with a proven track record
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a sales personality
• Must be able to handle work related pressure
• Must have a valid unendorsed drivers license
• Advanced computer literacy MS Office, Word and Excel
• Must be willing and able to work after hours and over time as and when required
• Fluency in English and Afrikaans is a fixed employment requirement within the Group
• In line with Group Recruitment Policy, preference will be given to AA candidates

Job responsibilities will include, but would not be limited to:
• Achieve annual/monthly sales targets as pre-determined by budget and forecast to ensure sustainable market growth
• Manage customer relations effectively to ensure sustainable future business
• Administer sales procedures according to company policy to monitor and record all sales transactions
• Liaise with Warehouse Manager and General Manager to provide constructive feedback relating to product quality, service levels ad market information
• Complete and accurate submission of month-end reports as per set deadlines
• Ensure that quotations are issued correctly
• Ensure effective record keeping of all sales transactions
• Achieve annual/monthly sales targets
