Internal Sales Representative - Irrigation Systems - Durban - R15k pm CTC + Benefits

On Offer:
Basic: 10-12k pm dep on exp
Provident fund contribution of 12%
Medical aid optional 50 % up to R1600

Job Summary:
The employee will, basically – but not limited to - be responsible for sales, operational and administrational function in
the shop. The Internal Sales Representative main focus will be to achieve sales budget every month and ensure that all
internal processes are executed timeously and accurately according to Standard Operating procedures.
The employee will also attend to customers problems, questions and concerns. The employee will coordinate with
responsible personnel to provide timely and accurate feedback to customers and managers.


Duties and responsibilities:
The employee work day starts at 07h30 and ends when all your daily duties have been done.

The employee will be required to work according to Standard Operating Procedure’s related and not limited to:
• Achieving sales budget every month.
• Generate Sales in the shop and telephonically.
• Process sales orders and invoices.
• Ensure shelves are well stocked at all times.
• Take telephonic orders accurately.
• Advise clients of stock shortages on orders.
• Assist and advise customers when they need product information either per telephone or at the sales counter.
• Generate quotations.
• Ensure good customer relations.
• Partake in regular stock takes.
• Check faulty products, fix where possible and submit necessary reports.
• Responsible for balancing of cash till.
• Cash up daily, at the end of each day.
• Pick stock for customers.
• Be proficient in basic designs.
• Assist with stock ordering and stock requests.
• Return and relay messages.
• Taking responsibility for their own continuous performance improvement and development.
• Create action plans and following through to achieve objectives.
• Continuous product training through self-study and internal training.

Requirements:
• Matric
• Min. 2 years’ experience in sales in the irrigation industry.
• Employee must be energetic with good mannerism and customer service background
• Must have good communication skills and be well presented
• Must have strong computer skills (Excel, Word, and Email)
• SYSPRO experience will be advantageous.
• Knowledge of irrigation and the agriculture industry required.
• Professional people and communication skills.
• Must be able to work under pressure, accurately neat and organized
