Purpose of the role
To provide direct support to the Branch Manager in the ongoing development of existing and prospective customers to ensure that the branch is able to meet its growth targets.

Reporting Relationship
This position reports to the Branch Manager.

Key Responsibility

? Assist customers with all their requirement in a professional and efficient manner telephonically and over the counter;
? Offer a variety of product related solutions to clients and generate quotations as per customer requirements;
? Receive and process orders on behalf of customers in accurate manner and also provide order status to customer
? Utilize inbound call opportunities to generate sales
? Develop strong relationship with customers and demonstrate how we can add value to their business
? Identify potential customer needs and opportunities to grow our business
? Follow up calls on a daily basis to customer who expressed interest in our product
? Set clear and achievable expectations with clients and achieving them
? Assist reps and customers in local purchases in order to provide additional service to customers
? Assist both customers and external reps with queries and quotations

Minimum Requirements
? Grade 12 (matric)
? Technical qualification advantageous
? Proven experience in sales environment
? Knowledge of machine tools an added advantage
? Ability to communicate clearly with good listening skills
