Internal Sales Team Leader (Industrial)

A leading automotive components manufacturer is looking for a suitably experienced Internal Sales Team Leader, to join their Johannesburg(Modderfontein) team. Excellent opportunities for career development ! Reporting to the Internal Sales Manager. Pneumatics and/or Meters experience preferred.
Main Tasks / Responsibilities:

Internal sales of parts and components products in the Automotive, Commercial and Off Highway channels.

To achieve revenue and margin budgets in the Automotive, Commercial and Off Highway channels.
To proactively manage and lead the internal sales team.
To effectively manage customer expectations.
To analyze customer purchases and create and implement effective internal sales strategies to support revenue.
To ensure active and accurate use of CRM/Maximizer.
To fully understand the customer and channel dynamics and to work with customers in creating long-term relationships and brand support.
To effectively communicate new products and solutions into the market.
To gain and provide the Company with market intelligence.
Effective and accurate reporting in line with business requirements.
Work with all department managers to ensure a customer-centric organization.

Key Performance Indicators:

Achievement of the revenue and margin budgets within the Automotive, Commercial and Off Highway channels.
Proactively manage and lead the internal sales team.
Effective selling skills
Continue sales growth Y-1 (Previous Year)
Market intelligence analysis
Selling of specials provided by Marketing
Backorder book management
Sales Order Management – processing and maintenance of sales orders in line with company policies.


Minimum requirements;
Formal Qualification & Experience:

Grade 12
Minimum of 3 years sales experience
Pneumatics and/or Meters experience preferred.
Computer literacy

Starting salary - Approximately R20 to R25k CTC + commission
