Our successful and rapidly growing client is in need of a target & deadline driven Telesales and Marketing Consultant to research and telephonically target potential clients within niche markets related to their products and services. Further to this, a strong creative and marketing aptitude will be required to design and distribute mailshots etc. to existing and potential clients to increase, retain, cross sell and expand the organisations products and services and provide leads to sales staff for cross selling and growth purposes.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS, DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Matric
Sales diploma or equivalent
Own vehicle essential
Proven successful niche market research skills within a technical environment
Minimum 3-5 years tele-sales experience focussed on lead generation
Identifying and researching target clients and profile preparation for sales team (lead generation)
Database compilation and maintenance
Proven track record of working independently and being self-managed and self-driven
Handling customer inquiries
Deliver a Sales Support service which includes customer and source interaction
A go getter, with a positive, cheerful and professional disposition
Assist sales team draft quotes and tenders independently within organisational SOP stipulated deadlines
Respond to every external request and query within organisational SOP stipulated deadlines
Weekly and monthly reports within organisation SOP deadline
Maintain customer data base and filing system inclusive of all correspondence and contracts
Computer literacy particularly MS Office (Advanced Excel and PowerPoint) and Adobe Illustrator / CorelDraw or similar
Excellent business communication skills - written and verbal
Must be presentable
Sound planning and organizational ability
Willing to work under pressure
Must be hard working and self-motivated
Sound and proven track record of meeting deadlines
Must be outgoing and not a clock watcher
Strong numerical ability
Ability to fit into a driven, fun and vibrant environment
