Position: Internship/ Junior – Human Resources Assistant
Location: Western Cape, Cape Town, Plumstead
Stipend: from R 4500
Start Date: Immediately

Job Summary:

Fetola, South Africa’s leading independent small business growth specialists urgently need an HR intern/ Junior Assistant to handle a variety of personnel related and business duties. Your role is to act as the liaison between the HR manager and employees, ensuring smooth communication and prompt resolution of all queries. You will also support our daily HR and training activities and assist in coordinating HR policies, processes and relevant documents.
Roles and responsibilities:
Our ideal candidate holds a degree in business or Human Resources and has some work experience with Human Resources Management. You will assist in recruitment including drafting and posting job ads, candidate sourcing, coordinating interviews, reference checks, onboarding process of new hires and assist with training administrative duties. Additionally, you will support HR-related administrative duties, compile and update employee records, and prepare reports relating to personnel activities (staffing, recruitment, training, performance evaluations etc).
Experience and Training:
A degree in Business or Human Resources Management
Experience as an HR assistant, staff assistant or relevant human resources/administrative/ recruitment experience (advantageous)
Excellent public speaking, facilitation skills (advantageous)
Basic knowledge of labour law
Excellent spoken and written English
Good communication and inter-personal skills
Computer literate, with advanced MS Office skills preferred
Innovative thinking and strong leadership advantageous
