Internship Position: Information Technology Internship
Duration: 3-6 months
Stipend: R3000-R5000
Location: Western Cape-Cape Town city Centre-Head office
Qualification: Students who need working experience to obtain their I.T qualification (in-service training)
Start date: ASAP (Intern must be available for in-service from 1April 2015-Full time)

Brief description of company: We are a retail company and seek 2 interns who will be based in our IT department for the duration of their contract.
Qualifications and experience: The intern should be studying towards an IT qualification or post grad, must require workplace experience to complete their studies.

IT Qualification specializing in: Computer programming, Data communication and Networking, Development Software, End-user computing, System Analysis and Design, System Development and Technical support.
Understanding should include, but not limited to:
-Knowledge of SDLC and relevant models/Applications and systems knowledge/
Project Management Methodology/ Experience (Advantageous)

Summary of Priorities / duties:
-Attachment and training program attendance, as organized by the department
-Day to day functional and technical requirements of the specific team assigned to
-Completion of course requirements and when required
Skills required: IT generalist

Essential Characteristics: Someone who is keen to learn, passionate, committed, ask the right questions and takes in as much as they can in a short period, but giving as much back at the same time. Well-spoken, mature, willing to adhere to the company values and be a team player.
