A dynamic and leading retail company is looking for an Inventory Accountant that has an understanding of distribution and supply chain. Have retail experience and seeking a position with more authority? This role also allows you to manage an Inventory team.



Qualification:

BCom or equivalent finance qualification (Diploma/ Degree)

BCom Honours



Skills & Experience:

Minimum 5 years’ accounting experience, with 2 years within a large company or retail environment

Minimum 2 - 3 years’ people management experience

Retail experience

Understanding of distribution and supply chain

Management skills

High Levels of Computer literacy – advanced MS Excel

Ability to work independently as well as in a team

Ability to work under pressure

Understanding of the inventory system

Ability to work with an integrated system

Highly detail-oriented

Deadline driven

Ability to communicate with others and maintain relationships



Job Description:

You will be required to manage the Inventory team and functions relating to Inventory and Royalties.

You will also be responsible for budgeting, forecasting, costing, profitability analysis, profit forecasting and managing accounts.
