POSITION: INVENTORY ANALYST – SA CONSUMER BRANDS
REPORTS TO: INVENTORY MANAGER – SA CONSUMER BRANDS
LOCATION: BRYANSTON – HEAD OFFICE

JOB OBJECTIVE:
• Assist in driving the Inventory strategy in line with the Operations plan
• Support the S&OP process to improve efficiencies and ensure business excellence within Operations
• Ensure cross functional collaboration to deliver against targets
• Maintain effective inventory management procedures
• Ensure accuracy in inventory transactions whilst maintaining audit requirements

JOB DESCRIPTION
• Key member of the Operations team, supporting the S&OP process
• Adhere to and audit all inputs and outputs to maintain accurate inventory management systems
• Develop and run necessary reports and documentation to facilitate accurate inventory counts including records of audits and required adjustments
• Attest to the accuracy of day to day inventory transactions and balances
• Ensure MRP orders are aligned with the 12-month rolling demand forecast
• Maintain records and reports on inventory turnover performance ensuring all documents related to movements are properly accounted for
• Make sound data driven recommendations to improve the management of inventory and supply chain processes
• Ensure inventory related compliance
• Identify inventory related risks and implement mitigation plans
• Maintain, update and store inventory records
• Lead and conduct physical inventories as necessary
• Support other functions within Operations to enable world class commercial operations

• Maintain appropriate communication within and between the functional areas of the Commercial Operations Team

QUALIFICATION AND SKILLS
• Qualification in Supply Chain, or equivalent
• Sound analytical experience in a manufacturing environment
• Minimum 5yrs Inventory experience in FMCG or Consumer Healthcare is beneficial
• Professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
