Job Description

• The main purpose of the role will be to assist and support the OSS Support division in managing the inventory across a range of products for support services provided by the business. You will be required to maximise inventory availability and maintain optimal levels. Your responsibilities will include;

• Analysing data to understand consumption and demand trends and forecast inventory accordingly
• Ensure that consumption details are correctly reflected in inventory tools
• Ensure that restock levels are completed appropriately
• ensure that optimal levels of stock are maintained based on demand
• work proactively with suppliers to improve performance
• escalate issues with suppliers to key stakeholders
• coordinate data transfer between multiple systems
• work with appropriate managers to ensure that correct strategies are applied across suppliers and products
• use best practice to drive system, departmental and operational improvements

Profile
The successful candidate for this role will ideally have;

• Previous experience in demand planning, forecasting and inventory control
• previous experience in analysing data for seasonal trends
• Strong communicative skills
• strong analytical skills
• strong planning and organisational skills
• a passion for data and analysis
