KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ensure that cycle counts and stock counts are carried out as per the requirements in the Standard Operating Procedure pertaining to the operation in which the staff member operates
Maintain cycle count report
Ensure that stock is recounted if variances are identified
Ensure all stock queries are resolved within 24 hours
Ensure that all discrepancies in terms of product condition, product codes and quantity are escalated to the Operations Manager or the Inventory Manager
Ensure that the stock within the warehouse is in the correct location and matches that of the stock on the stock keeping system
Assist with stock take preparation and reconciliation
Handle all products in a manner which maintains the condition of the stock and its packaging
Perform housekeeping duties

Knowledge:
Knowledge and understanding of stock accuracy in the warehouse environment
Have knowledge and understanding of all the Standard Operating Procedures pertaining to their function
Have knowledge and understanding of how to use the system within the operation
Have knowledge and understanding of Value policies
Have knowledge and understanding on the Quality Instruction Manual
Have knowledge and understanding of the Health and Safety procedures and requirements
Have a knowledge and understanding of the ISO 9001 procedures
Have product knowledge
Have knowledge and understanding of how to read labels
Have knowledge of stock control procedures

Minimum Requirements
Matric
Pass numeracy & literacy test
Experience in working with stock
Must be computer literate
Working from 7 - 5
Must have own transport
