International Agricultural concern operating in the grain industry, based in Stellenbosch, currently has a position available for an Inventory Controller

APPOINTMENT REQUIREMENTS
• 3+ years experience in inventory management in the Grain industry
• (Maize /Wheat/Sunflowerseed/Beans)
• Good knowledge of day and year grain storage .
• Experience of silo certs and physical movement of stock (origin to destination)
• Experienced in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel level 3 and advanced )
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills
• Exemplary mathematical and analytical skills
• Excellent problem solving skills coupled with a strong personality
• Ability to work under pressure, irregular or extended hours, including weekends
KPA’S
• Monitoring and maintaining current inventory levels, ensuring quantities that appear in the system are accurate
• Maintain and update inventory records
• Reconcile inventory discrepancies and report any discrepancies
• Maintaining optimal stock levels to ensure timely availability of stock
• Managing excess and ageing stock.
• Using electronic inventory tracking to reconcile inventory with 3rd party stakeholders .
• Creating and maintaining spreadsheets to report and analyze data daily weekly monthly.
• Presenting reports and analyses to senior management.
• Tracking & updating stocks both on sheets & computerized system
