Investment Administrator
Our client is a wealth planning operation based in the Pretoria / Centurion area and is affiliated to one of the largest broker franchise operations in South Africa. Although a micro business the company does have an extensive based of High Net Worth clients (mainly in the retirement market).This person is an extremely important resource in end to end support of the wealth planner and a good knowledge of financial planning administration (linked investments/life investments etc) as well as attention to detail are critical to the role.
Role Description:

Reporting to the Wealth Manager. Will be required to service and maintain existing client portfolios as well as all administrative support for new business function and all related matters (mainly retired client wealth and investment business). Liaise and build relationships with clients. Responsible for all non-advice related aspects of the franchise and able to work independently/autonomously as will often be the only resource in the office.
Role Requirements:

o Grade 12 or equivalent
o Valid driver’s licence and own transport.
o Afrikaans client base so high competency level in Afrikaans will be beneficial.
o Relevant tertiary qualification (eg financial admin, financial planning type qualification nice to have).
o Previous exposure to dealing with and assisting clients in terms of a financial planning (wealth) book of business.
o Good relationship builder and can make client feel at ease (we are in control of your query / portfolio administration etc).
o Extensive product and process knowledge (multi skilled in financial planning / service sector).

JOB-RELATED EXPERIENCE
Ideally around a minimum five years' working experience in a similar role within the independent broker or private-wealth management / investment administration space.
