This position entails working in a team within the PSG Wealth Investment unit. It is required that in time that the analyst should be proficient in all of the tasks listed below.

Key Responsibilities:

Administration -
DAY to day administration of the PSG Multi-Management Funds of Funds including amongst other things rebalancing and fund flow management.
End of month administration of the PSG Multi-Management Funds of Funds.
Monitor pricing of all products on a daily basis to ensure correct.

Research and Analysis -
Conducting detailed due diligences on current and prospective investments
Performing quantitative analysis on current and prospective investments.
Direct security/instrument research.
Compiling regular detailed written reports on research and analysis undertaken and ability to present these reports in a professional manner.

Marketing and Communication -
Regular written and oral report backs to existing clients.
Presentations on the results and opportunities offered by the unit to prospective clients.
Assisting sales force in drafting materials to market the unit’s products and services.

Performance Reporting -
Calculate and report monthly performance on all product offered and/or governed under PSG Wealth’s Investment division

Third Party Research -
Provide regular and ad hoc research and management for third-party funds.

Attribution Analysis -
Provide regular attribution analysis of all products offered by PSG Multi-Management.

Risk Management and Reporting -
Provide regular risk management and reporting for all products offered/governed by the PSG Wealth Investment unit.
Provide regular risk management and reporting for all products offered to contracted third-parties.

Institutional Asset Management -
Research and investigate the institutional asset management environment in South Africa.
Develop qualitative and quantitative materials necessary to market PSG Wealth to institutional clients including pension funds, medical aid schemes and labour unions, amongst others.
Compile, assist and present marketing pitches for PSG Wealth to prospective institutional clients.

Minimum Requirements:
Minimum BComm
Post graduate qualifications, CFA, CIPM will be advantageous
Working experience in a wealth management company will be advantageous.
Minimum 3 years relevant experience.
