My client has a vacancy for an Invoicing Clerk and Accounts Assistant. The purpose of the role is to ensure that stock and finished goods are invoiced on time, proof of deliverables are available for all deliveries and attending to sales staff requests.
The position will include raising sales orders and invoicing and the administration process that accompanies this.
Responsibilities
Invoicing authorised customers
Ensuring all PODs (proof of delivery) of all invoices raised are available
Sales administrative tasks
Customer service
Petty cash
Stationery and stock level management and issuance
Preparing and circulating GPR (gross profit reports) to designated staff
Printing rating labels and bar codes
Oversee order of filing rooms and printer services
Ad hoc duties as required
Requirements
Matric (must have maths and preferably accounting / bookkeeping)
Tertiary qualification in bookkeeping / accounting
Intermediate to advanced MS Excel essential
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Outlook)
Pastel
2 Years of relevent experience
Clear Credit and Criminal verification
Remuneration
Market related remuneration depending on qualifications and experience
