JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

- Handle telephonic customer orders
- Process all customer orders received via PDA into Pastel
- Issue picking slips to Factory for picking
- Match picking slips to invoices once confirmed by Picking area
- Ensure that all processed invoices are complete and accurate in terms of customer details, product description, quantities, prices, discounts (if applicable)
- Query any discrepancies with respective sales representative
- Report “Out of Stocks” to procurement officer and production manager
- Ensure that all goods leaving premises is accompanied by a valid tax invoice
- Record orders received & maintain a reconciliation for despatch manager and sales manager
- Ensure that customer orders are correctly recorded and updated timeously on tick-off sheet
- Query outstanding orders with respective sales representative & report to sales manager
- Answer switchboard when necessary
- Assist team members when necessary
- Assist with financial year end stock-take

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Matric
- Proven working experience of accounting packages, Microsoft Excel and Word
- 2 years related experience
- Tertiary education advantage
