CORE PURPOSE OF THE JOB
•To ensure that goods supplied to customers are accurately and timeously invoiced, and to control and administrate the finished goods function

Finished Goods
•Receive work ticket from despatch with delivery note illustrating produced quantity.
•Checks physical stock received against delivery note and signs off if there are no variances.
•Receipt all goods received against relevant customer item codes.
•Oversee the placement of stock on the shelf within finished goods.
•Ensure finished goods are stocked in an orderly manner to ensure items are easily identified and found by the Operations Manager and Stores Administrator.
•Create sales orders for call off’s received and ensure the sales order accompany the delivery.
•Ensure customer goods are delivered on time with delivery note and invoice.
•Ensure goods called-off within 90 day stock holding period.

Finished Goods Stock Take:
•Initiate finished goods stock take at month end.
•Check for variances against initial stock count & do re-counts & reconcile variances where necessary.
•Resolve internal & external queries regarding all matters related to finished goods.
•Manage all local deliveries for the day including arranging transport for local deliveries via Forms.
•Ensure that all deliveries leaving the Packaging plant have a delivery note.
•Check the goods against the delivery note for quantity and product.
•Complete relevant information such as delivery date, delivery note number, on work ticket, quantity per box, transport company, weight and transport costs on work ticket.

Knowledge:
•Matric
•Prior experience working in a finished goods environment
•Attend Production meetings and provide feedback on any irregularities; areas of concern etc
