IPT Engineer (Internet Protocol Telephony)

We are looking for an IPT Engineer for a IT Company in Port Elizabeth

Purpose of the position:
Proactive monitoring, manage, configuration, and day to day operational ownership of the telephony landscape, own the monthly reporting on billing in a multitenant environment.

Key requirements:
Implementing Cisco Unified Communications Manager, Part 1 (CIPT1)
Implementing Cisco Unified Communications Manager, Part 2 (CIPT2)
Implementing Cisco Voice Communications and QoS (CVOICE)
Microsoft Exchange 2010/13 Experience
Certified in Skype for Business
O365 Experience
Microsoft Azure and In-tune experience
Good English language skills

Duties:
Monitoring, recording, diagnosing, reporting, escalation and management of several IPT, and Skype for Business environments.
Fulfil an operational proactive role to ensure that future incidents are prevented and current incidents are resolved or escalated through the relevant processes.
Develop a basic understanding of our Enterprise Services customer’s business, crucial project management and administration abilities such as reportwriting, as well as being proficient in operational documentation with attention to detail.
Manage, diagnosing and restoring items in Cisco Call Managers.
Share and grow the proactive requirements of the role by adding visibility and improving the current monitoring systems and sharing with the wider team.
Troubleshoot Skype for Business, and various Call Managers for specific errors, and be involved in the deployment of newly released firmware, or software patches during patching weekends.
Assist with IPT stand-by on a rotational basis.
Configure and report on a weekly & monthly basis on the status of the IPT environments.
