IR SPECIALIST - HUMAN RESOURCES (EE)

Requirements:
Degree (BCom/BA) in IR/HR - a graduate qualification in Labour Law will be an added advantage
Have a minimum of 3 years relevant experience within the disciplines of HR, focusing on Industrial Relations within a unionised manufacturing environment
Have excellent communication, facilitation, negotiation and interpersonal skills
Display strong resilience
Advanced conflict/dispute resolution experience, including CCMA
Must have good business acumen
Be a team player, yet able to work independently and have strong drive
Above average computer literacy
Must have good presentation skills
Responsibilities:
Facilitating the positive growth of management - union relations
Support the IR / HR Manager with the initiation, implementation and auditing of relevant IR processes, policies, procedures and agreements
Advise, guide and coach the HR Consultants on Employee Relations
To consult with all levels of Management, Union and Employees on the implementation understanding and application of HR Strategies, policies and procedures in order to ensure adherence to all policies, guidelines and agreements
Prepare and represent the organisation in various conflict resolution structures/forums internally/externally including the CCMA
Liaise, negotiate and consult with Shop Stewards and Union officials on Industrial Relations and Company issues
Lead or participate in projects relating to IR
Liaise with the Company Lawyer on legal issues
Represent HR at daily Production Management meetings and other interfaces ensuring effective two-way communication
Participate as a member of the Management team in Negotiating Committee meetings
Effective administration of all IR related information and processes
Develop and generate relevant IR related reports and presentations
