IR Specialist

Salary: Market Related
A Large outsourced Contact Centre is now recruiting an IR Specialist to join their vibrant HR team to provide HR and IR support to all employees.
Job Description:

To provide a dedicated IR advisory service to management, line managers and employees

•To ensure that all policies, procedures and employment legislation is adhered to

•Advise on, facilitate, execute and implement the applicable HR practices, policies and procedures relating to disciplinary cases, grievance, consultations and conflict and dispute resolution, absence management, identifying risks and provide assistance with preventative measures

•Ensure compliance with Labour Legislation such as Skills Development Act, Labour Relations Act, Employment Equity Act, Compensation for Occupational Health & Safety Act, etc.

•Liaise with the payroll department with the processing of new employees, leavers and queries

Minimum Requirements:

An HR Qualification is essential
•Experience putting together CCMA cases and representing the company in hearings

•Able to demonstrate an understanding of how corporate objectives impact operational HR

•Excellent knowledge of the BCEA, Labour legislation and Industrial Relations

•Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multi-task, priorities and work to deadline, using own initiative
