Job Description: ISP After hours Call Centre Support Agent

• Receive and answer inbound support requests from customers via phone, email and ticketing system
• Support telecommunication systems remotely (with s specific focus on ISP client needs) as far the ISP focus areas will allow
• Perform basic remote troubleshooting and resolve issues where possible on broadband Internet home gateways, telephone, voice and WiFi-related queries
• Keep very accurate reports on fault details and resolution process
• Respond to queries in a professional friendly and timely manner
• Liaise with the relevant network on support escalations and site visits (if the need arises)
• Manage applications and new subscription process whilst communicating with the client


Requirements:
- Matric certificate (or equivalent)
- Technical aptitude
- Fluent in Afrikaans
- Solid understanding of desktop computer operating systems, tablet and smart phone devices, Web browsers and email
- Self-motivated, precision worker that takes pride in their work
- Effective telephone communication using questioning and attentive listening skills
- Ability to effectively deal with job stress and irate customers
- Ability to build positive business relationship with clients.
- Excellent telephonic etiquette, phone manner and customer service orientated
- Transport to the office and able to begin work at 8am
- Integrity and ability to work unsupervised and able to check own work
- Ability to work in a team
- Good Business and Human Relations skills
- Willingness to Learn and Solve Challenging problems
- Ability to work under high pressure situations and flexibility work times if required
- Problem Solving capability
- Analytical thinking, accurate reporting and excellent people and communication skills essential.

Advantageous:
- Ability to speak English and Afrikaans
- Driver’s License
- Network related experience or recent Networking qualification (N+, Duxbury Adv, or ICND1/CCENT)
- Experience supporting telecommunication services and ISP equipment and operating systems
