Position: IT Account Manager
Type: Permanent position
Area: Midrand or Cape Town area depending on your location
Remuneration: R18 000 – R26 000 CTC (neg on exp, qualifications and skills) (Basic plus commission)

• Minimum requirements and skills:
• Completed matric
• Relevant degree or diploma nor other suitable qualification
• 3 Years’ + experience in similar (sales/ account) role in the IT industry
• Formal technical and sales training
• Good understanding of general IT concepts
• Clear credit and criminal record
• Valid driver’s license and own vehicle
• Fluent English communication and strong presentation skills
• Strong client service delivery focus
• Strong admin, project and organisational skills
Preferable skills and experience
• Experience in building strong relationships with clients (SLA’s)
• Experience in IT Infrastructure services and products
• Proven track record of meeting sales targets would be beneficial
• Networks, telecommunications and/ or (IT) security experience
• Able to sell via channel partners & clients directly
Core Tasks:
• Assist Strategic Account Managers with existing and new Accounts
• Schedule & run meetings with clients
• Set-up workshops
• Distribute information
• Manage and adhere to deadlines
• Identify resources
• Assistance in invoice process
• Admin & marketing assistance
• Pre-technical assistance
• Proactively manage client expectations
• Maintain sales pipeline & lead information on CRM system up to invoicing
• Provide feedback on field activities
• Able to remain committed & focused despite setbacks or objections
