A new vacancy exists for an IT Analyst within a large FMCG concern based in Stellenbosch. Someone with a broad IT Technical and Application Support exposure will be a very good fit. This is an Employment Equity appointment.

Requirements:
A relevant IT qualification (Degree or Diploma)
Project Management course completed – will be an advantage
Minimum 2 year experience in IT Application Support and Development is essential
A good understanding of Databases is required
Skilled and experienced in using SQL and C#
Knowledge of I-Series and Oracle will be an advantage
Previous experience on an ERP System with exposure to Distribution
Ability to travel within Sub Saharan Africa when required
Ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines
Competent in working with numbers as well as analysing and understanding data

Overview and responsibilities:
Provide user support and training on the Kronos time & Attendance system
Setup of rules & customization of reports, specification of patches of Kronos
Responsible for translation and roll-out of software upgrades
Specification, development and maintenance of interfaces between various applications
Operational support and technical troubleshooting of Saflec access control
Specification, development and maintenance of Warehouse management system reports
Assists with implementation of applications & training of new users on assigned applications, including workflow mapping and designing of training manuals
Development of reporting requirements using Microsoft Reporting Services Tool
Maintain existing reports written in ColdFusion and assist with the migration of these to Microsoft Reporting Services
Develop knowledge and skill of the other applications within the organisation
Development using C# programming language
