IT Business Analyst: SAAS Products

Excellent opportunity at a stable company. Seeing an Intermediate IT BA for SaaS Products with basic TAX knowledge. Gather, validate, analyse and communicate business info to support the recommendation of solutions to business problems. Analyse the enterprise, continuous development & review requirements, solution design and process documentation of various projects. Be responsible for any task within the software development life cycle relating to the analysis as as per project identification.

Consult various clients to understand their value chain, structure, functions and products and/or services.

Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and acting as a consultant on the application.

Challenge the business in their thinking, especially to understand the intent of the business requirement.

With little supervision, elicit, gather, analyse, document, validate and communicate business requirements.

Determine the feasibility of a proposed project.

Estimate total project duration based on experience.

Prepare functional specifications which could be used as input to the development of a new solution.

Interfacing between the business client and the development team with regards to the business and functional requirements.

Identify, analyse and document business processes in order to identify gaps and risks.

Trace requirements throughout the project to ensure they have been accurately addressed.

Define test cases to validate functionality of the technical solution against the business requirements.

Develop accurate and complete test plans.

Conduct testing during the test phase of product delivery.

Provide training and compilation of training material.

Identify and document system deficiencies and recommend solutions.

Assists in enforcement of project deadlines and schedules.

Ensure quality, on time delivery of agreed deliverables.

Deliver accurate time accounting and reporting of work done.

Improve upon existing approaches by seeking opportunities to creatively transform current industry practices into fresh alternative solutions.

Accurately prepare written business correspondence that is coherent, grammatically correct, effective, professional and engaging.

Develop internal and external meeting objectives and agendas.

Facilitate meetings with clients and the project team.

Prepare and deliver informative and well-structured presentations.

Taking responsibility for all services and customer service with regards to the product.

Conducting client satisfaction surveys.

Relevant tertiary qualification/Informatics diploma / degree.

3 Years Business analysis experience including SaaS products and basic tax knowledge.

Project management (Beneficial).

Honours degree / Business Analyst diploma (Beneficial).

Own vehicle

Able to travel

English

Understand basic Internet and client/server architectures.

Working knowledge of SQL and database design.

Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office products including MS Visio, MS Project, MS SharePoint.

Strong analytical skills facilitating problem solving.
