Job Specification
• Handling all administrative responsibilities for the IT department in Johannesburg as well as for the Head of IT\IT Senior Manager and IT Manager
• All administrative responsibilities for Technology department
• Managing all travel arrangements for the IT department
• Keeping record of, and managing the status of internal IT projects
• Keeping record of, and managing cell phone contracts, renewals and data top ups
• Preparation for meetings and note taking in meetings
• Acting as the first point of contact for the service desk, and logging service calls on the helpdesk
• Overseeing the turnaround time and quality of IT support calls handled by the IT team via the helpdesk
• Coordinate IT governance activities
• Ensuring formal compliance by business with IT business processes
• Procurement of IT assets/consumables
• Bi-weekly stock take of all printer consumables on the premises
• Managing the IT asset register
• Maintaining and updating all IT template forms, and documentation (including training presentations)
• Building a strong working relationship with the national offices and with vendors
• Establishing strong working relationships with colleagues and other departments
• Ensuring the IT service standards are met at all times
• Ensuring and maintain the strictest adherence to confidentiality at all levels
• Adhering to firm’s risk management policies
• Ensure vendors are paid accurately and timeously

Qualifications
• Matric essential
• A formal post matric qualification will be an advantage

Skills and Experience required
• Computer literate
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent understanding of IT (Power-user)
• Project management experience

Office Hours
08:00 – 17:00
There will be occasions when the incumbent will need to work overtime.
