POSITION: IT Enterprise Solutions Sales Executive - Sandton
SALARY: R12-18KPM plus allowances plus uncapped commission plus 50% company medical aid contribution

OVERVIEW:
National Business and IT Solutions company based in Linbro Park (Sandton), requires IT Solutions Sales Executives to grow market share in Enterprise Server, Storage and Network Solutions. To promote company range of Enterprise hardware and managed services solutions to corporate customers. This is a target based position and therefore monthly targets will need to be achieved. Must have 3 years’ external business development and business sales experience, ideally in office automation / IT. Role is best suited to a “hunter” who is well versed in cold calling and generating new business specifically in the corporate market and who is experienced in liaising at C-level.

REQUIREMENTS:
• Matric (Grade 12)
• Valid driver’s license and own reliable car
• Vendor ESSN hardware product sales certifications (Dell, HP & Cisco) an advantage
• Software Sales Certifications will be an advantage (Microsoft, Adobe, )
• CompTia Certification A+ , N+ (Preferable)
• Certificate in Information Technology (an advantage)
• Diploma in Information Technology (an advantage)
• Valid SA ID
• Afrikaans as a first or second language a definite advantage

Minimum experience required for this position:
• 2 Years IT hardware and software external sales and new business development experience (not telesales, not retail sales, not channel/distributor sales)
• Proven Sales Track Record in concluding successful agreements with end users (not channel/distributor)
• Previous experience in Enterprise Servers, Storage & Networking product sales
• Ideally previous experience in new business development and sales of:
o Servers – Blade, Rack and Tower (Dell, HP)
o Storage - (HP, Dell, Equallogic, Compellent)
o Server and Networking Racks
o UPS and Generator Solutions (APC, Eaton, Delta)
o Backup Solutions (HP and Dell LTO tape and disk to disk backup solutions)
o Networking (Dell PowerConnect, HP Proliant, Cisco Catalyst)
o Installations, Maintenance and Support.
o Virtualisation Solutions (Dell VStart and HP Virtual System)
o Vmware and Hyper V virtualisation; licensing and implementation.
o IT rentals
o Hosted Exchange, archiving and backup solutions.


The following are primary responsibilities of the position:
• Recognize the needs of the customer and provide detailed information to the customer about the technical specifications of the computer hardware, software and services offered by the company.
• Advises customers on technical matters and recommends appropriate computer configurations.
• Stay abreast of market trends.
• Investigate new items and makes recommendations for purchasing products.
• Serve as a customer service rep for customers who have questions or difficulties with products and services sold by the company.
• Ensure quality of service by developing a thorough and detailed knowledge of technical specifications and other features of company’s systems and processes.
• Maintain awareness and keep abreast of constantly changing software, hardware systems and peripherals.
