Position Purpose
Supervise and mature the architecture component of the ERP & Analytics portfolio within the IT function of the organisation
This will include providing leadership in:
- Design ERP & Analytics architectures;
- Implement ERP & Analytics architectures
- Design breakthrough customer interfaces accessible anywhere, anytime and on any-platform;
- Execute the strategy of anywhere, anytime information & analytics
- Engage and collaborate with all stakeholders to derive customer needs and solutions
- Drive ERP & Analytics governance
Principal Accountabilities

The Organisation ERP & Analytics Architecture
- Design, implement and maintain ERP & Analytics architecture
- Design, implement and maintain anywhere, anytime, any-platform ERP & Analytics interfaces
- Constantly engineer or re-engineer ERP & Analytics processes and interfaces
- Make recommendations around best practice business intelligence and ERP, tools and software
Business Analysis and Analytics
- Constantly engage with and extrapolate user needs
- Design and implement ERP & Analytics interfaces to service the customer needs
- Derive and execute ERP & Analytics strategies
Project and Innovation Management
- Manage key and high-level ERP & Analytics projects
- Drive innovation within the ERP & Analytics function by introducing, enhancing and implementing predictive analytics; new version releases of SAP; business performance management; benchmarking; complex event processing, mobile; web technologies
- Drive the ERP & Analytics portfolio to a goal standard and a leadership position
- Design, enhance and implement data mining and data warehouse best practices (10%)
- Define and manage ERP & Analytics Governance through policy and procedure formulation and implementation (5%)
- Interact with and manage strategic relationships with vendors. This will encompass building and sustaining relationships with strategic vendors and partners; and deriving, executing and managing SLAs (5%)
Working Relationships and Partnering
360 Partnering with Owner Operators; Store Staff; the various business functions within the South African market; Global IT; Regional IT; UAE Business; Store Technology Vendors; and the IT Team
