Our client, currently one of the largest Adventure Tour Companies in Africa is seeking a IT Help Desk / Junior Systems administrator to join their dynamic and vibrant team in the Cape Town CBD/ Somerset West Office.

Duties will include (but not limited) to:
• Providing helpdesk support, problem resolution and systems troubleshooting
• Ensuring systems uptime and availability
• Identifying and suggesting possible improvements on procedures
• Determining the best solution based on the issue and details provided by employees
• Following-up on outstanding requests and ensuring timely resolution
• Supporting audio and video equipment
• Performing adhoc duties when required
• Supporting users of Mac OS X, Microsoft Windows
• TCP/IP, Routers, WAPs, Wireless, and other networking
• Providing user training for basic hardware and software use
• Documenting and recommending policies and procedures
• Strong problem solving and organizational skills
• Assisting other administrators in maintaining standard software and server configurations
• Monitoring and Notification operations
• Systems Monitoring
• Providing user training for basic hardware and software use
• Documenting and recommending policies and procedures

Minimum Requirements:
• Matric
• +- 2 years relevant experience
• Relevant Tertiary qualification
• Fully bilingual in English & Afrikaans
• Computer hardware and operating systems
• Own reliable transport
• Tourism Industry Experience hugely advantageous
• A+, N+, Security+, Server +
• MCSA, CCNA, Linux+

Salary of Offer: R 10 000 – R 12 000 p/m (depending on experience) + Provident Fund + occupational healthcare program for everyday Dr’s expenses
